Dancing Argentine Tango in a small space
One of the biggest challenges associated with dancing the argentine tango is a very crowded dance floor meaning that the dancers have to perform their moves in a very small space surrounded by other couples. Here are some terrific videos addressing this challenge.
The video is titled “Ejercicios – Tango en una baldosa” by Nany Peralta and shows how you can dance tango in a very small space.
This takes the argentine tango to another level by dancing tango on a small table.
And here is a performance from the 2011 Seoul Tango Week Farewell Milonga:
This is another table dance. The moves are exactly what you would see in a crowded milonga. The moves were mostly ocho cortados, rebotes, and small giros. It is a helpful illustration of small space tango moves just performed on a table.
Lets finish with Murat and Michelle Erdemsel dancing in a small space which is another good exmple of dancing in a small space.
